Maybe it's time to replace the entire carpet. On our second stay, the carpet in the living area of our suite had several dark, dirty spots. On our return stay, I insisted on an inside room facing the courtyard. That busy highway is VERY noisy throughout the night. If you are a light sleeper as I am, then make sure your room does NOT face I 29. They need a large, high, lighted sign on the building on the side that faces I 29. They need to install some taller, lighted signs like the nearby Embassy Suite has. This property can be hard to find if you are not familiar with the area, are arriving on a dark night, don't know where it is located and don't have GPS. Good complimentary supper (not dinner) from Monday through Thursday from about 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Very friendly, professional and helpful staff. For your convenience, I'm going to list the positives and negatives below based on our two stays. I would return to this hotel if I am ever in the area again, they had everything I needed (except the USB).My wife and I stayed here twice within one week's time frame. We took advantage of the free shuttle to the airport, very handy feature! Only constructive criticism I would offer would be to add USB ports somewhere in the room, there weren’t any and I had forgotten my charger but luckily the back of the TVs had one so we were able to utilize those to charge our phones. My son used the workout room, he didn’t have complaints. I used the indoor pool as well, clean and refeshing. Room was clean and spacious, had a full kitchen with stovetop & refrigerator, truly like being at home! Breakfast was very hearty & filling with multiple choices. Despite arriving at the hotel at midnight, the service desk associate was courteous & efficient getting me checked in. I was in Kansas City very briefly to visit family. This was my first time staying at a Residence Inn.
